Not new to Paganism, but definitely new to the parenting aspects of it.

Yes, the icon is my daughter, although the pic is out of date, taken 8 months ago.

Anyway, I'm looking for good Pagan parenting sources, for now and for when she's a little older -- websites, print magazines, anything?

I have not read them, but it just happens that as I read this I saw two books lying on the floor in this room next to me, one is called The Family Wicca Book: The Craft for Parents and Children by Ashleen O'Gaea and the other is called Pagan Parenting: Spiritual, Magical, & Emotional Development of the Child by Kristin Madden. As I said, I have not read either, but they were recommended to my girlfriend by someone who has read them.

Kristin Madden's book is decent, but I believe currently out of print.

Already?! It was only published four years ago? Well I suppose there is not a very large market for books on pagan parenting....

One good print resource is Blessed Bee, a little print 'zine that comes out quarterly. There's a book by Starhawk and a few others call Circle Round that's also excellent. (Sorry for the lack of links, I'm working off the top of my head during naptime.)

Yeah, I heartily reccomend Circle Round. We use that one a lot.

Welcome! I have two daughters, ages 23 and almost 10. I'll get my list for you when my site comes back up.

One book I will NOT recommend is Raising Witches by Ashleen O'Gaea. Although the the book is supposed to be about helping your child to develop their own strong identities and admittedly there are good parenting ideas, I found the book to be very "I am the best Pagan Mom Ever so do what I did". In an ideal situation we can all be stay at home parents and homeschool our children and can afford outings and playgroups and family vacations etc. My world is not ideal. It does have some excellent information about children and developmental stages though, so perhaps take her advice with a packet of salt
